Two products in this directory independently arrived at charging for proactivity rather than capacity. One gates unlimited proactive actions at $49 a month against limited at $35. Another gives the conversation away free and charges for the unprompted check-in. When two teams reach the same unusual pricing axis separately, it is worth taking seriously.

The design question underneath is restraint. An agent that reminds you of everything is noise, and an agent in your Messages thread is competing with your friends for attention. The products that handle this well decide what is worth interrupting you for, which is a judgement problem rather than a scheduling one.
