Mochi
LiveText a photograph of dinner and get the calories back, with no app to open
Mochi is an AI agent you reach on iMessage. To start, text a number. It reaches out on a schedule.
How it works
Calorie tracking without the tracking app. You send a photo or a voice note of what you ate, it comes back with the calories and the macros, keeps the streak, and sends a recap at the end of the day. Cancelling is texting the word cancel.
The reason it belongs in a directory about messaging agents rather than in a list of health apps is the friction it removes: the reason food logging fails is that people stop opening the app, and there is no app here to stop opening.
The policy is dated 10 September 2026, the day after this listing was written, and it does not address whether the photographs and the logs train a model.

If Mochi is not the one
Building one instead? The infrastructure side is a separate half of this site: every provider that carries these messages, what they charge, and what the headline price leaves out. Start with How to build an iMessage agent in 2026.
