Orbits

Orbits is an app for running a household, the calendar, the lists, the chores, the appliances and their warranties, the pets, with a daily briefing each morning, and what puts it here is Bit, the assistant inside it: its own pages say you text Bit directly or add Bit to the family group chat, and its privacy policy describes an Orbits phone number that receives text messages from you and from members of your household. Bit creates events, reminders, tasks, chores and list items from a text, and the site says it phones restaurants for reservations and gathers quotes from plumbers and electricians.

You start with the app, on iOS or Android; the number is assigned inside it and is not published, so the channel is recorded from the policy rather than a link. The policy is the more specific of its two documents: it says messages from unregistered numbers are neither read nor stored, which is the sentence about other people in a household thread that most listings here never write, and it says connected email and calendar content is not used to train general-purpose models. It says nothing about training on the text messages themselves, which is why that row is unstated, and it names no model provider and no carrier for the messages.

The founders are named on the site, Nomaan Ahmed and Erik Tillberg, and the company in the policy is Nemus AI, Inc. It is filed under family with Jarvie and Sidekicks, the other agents here built for a thread with a household in it; the difference is that Orbits is an app with a thread attached, and those two are threads.
