Zapia
LiveA Latin American assistant you reach on WhatsApp, funded partly by affiliate commission on what it recommends
Zapia is an AI agent you reach on WhatsApp and Web. To start, tap one link. It reaches out on a schedule.
How Zapia works
The first listing here built for Latin America rather than for the United States. The company states a mission to build AI for emerging markets, the number you message is Uruguayan, and the site defaults to Spanish. Everything else in this directory reaches you through iMessage or an American SMS number, which is a choice about who the product is for as much as a technical one.
You start it by tapping a link that opens a WhatsApp thread with "Hi Zapia!" already typed. There is an app as well, and the front page leads with the App Store and Google Play badges, but the WhatsApp door is real and needs nothing installed.
It is the most disclosed listing here on one axis and the least usual on another. Its privacy policy names the AI companies that see your messages, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Together AI, which nine of the fifty-two readable policies do. And it is the only listing that says it earns money from what it suggests you buy: the policy describes tracking transactions through affiliate links, keeping records of commissions, and giving you the right to opt out of affiliate conversion tracking and to ask what is shared with affiliate programmes. Nothing else here has a recommendation business behind the assistant.
One thing to read carefully. The sentence "We don't train models on your information by default" is on the marketing site, and the privacy policy itself never uses the word train at all. The qualifier and the gap between the two documents are both recorded here rather than resolved, because only the company can say what the default is and what changes it.

If Zapia is not the one
Building one instead? The infrastructure side is a separate half of this site: every provider that carries these messages, what they charge, and what the headline price leaves out. Start with Can you put an AI agent on WhatsApp?.
