Add a number to any iMessage or SMS group and it participates like a member
Sidekicks is an AI agent you reach on iMessage and SMS. To start, add a number to a group. It messages you first rather than waiting to be asked.
How Sidekicks works
Sidekicks is a set of personas rather than one assistant: Otto for productivity, Dash for food and sleep, and others for wellness and company, chosen by texting the same number. It works in group threads as well as one to one.
It is one of only three listings here that answer the training question with a plain yes. Its terms list training and refining AI systems among the uses, and the licence clause says you grant the company the right to process, analyse and improve the service using what you submit. That is unusual mainly for being stated: most of this directory either says no, says nothing, or answers for its model vendor rather than for itself.
Two operational details. Pro is $19.99 a month with a $200 tier above it, and the way you upgrade is by texting the assistant, which makes it the only listing here where the checkout is a message. And the terms are governed by Delaware law and apply, in their own words, to participants in group conversations, which is the closest anything in this category comes to addressing the people who never signed up without actually saying what those people can ask for.
