Mae
BetaA family assistant you call or text, holding the things that live in one person's head
Mae is an AI agent you reach on SMS and Voice. To start, invite only.
How Mae works
Mae is aimed at the person in a family who holds everything: the field trip form due Friday, the dentist appointment, what is running low, whose birthday is next, and the thing somebody promised to handle and did not. Its own framing is that even with an app for nearly everything, most of family life still lives in one person's head, and Mae is meant to be that someone instead.
You reach it by calling or texting, and it says it connects to email, calendars, school, shopping, appointments, travel and deliveries. Its description of how it works is a sentence you can find almost word for word on another listing here: it is trained to use a phone and a computer in much the same way people do.
It is the newest thing in this directory by some distance. The domain was registered on 30 August 2026, the site dates the idea to April, the private beta to June, and puts everything else in the fourth quarter. It publishes a timeline rather than a product.
Nothing else is published. No price, no company, no privacy policy at any path, no named founder beyond an account called mae founder, and no number to text. It is built in Austin, and every other row here is empty because there is nothing yet to read.

If Mae is not the one
Building one instead? The infrastructure side is a separate half of this site: every provider that carries these messages, what they charge, and what the headline price leaves out. Start with A2P 10DLC registration: what it costs and how long it takes.
