How Coral works

Coral is built for a family rather than a person. It sits in the family's iMessage group chat, where anyone can @Coral to start a group order, assign a chore, set a reminder for everyone or keep score, and each person also gets a private Coral in their own thread. The private agents talk to each other and to the family one: a parent's Coral approves the cleats, a child's moves the pickup, a grandparent's books the eye exam.

What they share is the point. Location, calendars, to-dos, payment cards and logins for services like DoorDash, Instacart and Uber are pooled across the family, with roles deciding who sees what, allowances per person and purchases that need a parent's approval. Payments go through Crossmint, which holds the card details; browser tasks run on Browser Use.

The policy, dated 8 October 2026, says it makes no universal guarantee that what passes through it is kept out of model training, that cancelling does not erase anything, and that adding Coral to a family conversation does not count as parental consent for a child under 13. It names Photon as the company carrying its messages, alongside Apple.

It launched on 11 October 2026 at $20 a month for the whole family, from the team behind Result.

What it holds when you connect an accountYour password States it may be given the password for a third-party account“Authorized members may be able to view browser activity, use authenticated sessions, initiate actions, and manage saved website credentials or payment methods.”
If you cancelCanceling does not erase anything: conversations, files, memories and task records stay until removed through its controls or account deletion. Sending /reset clears a space's history, memories, files, tasks, browser data, saved sessions and payment references.
