How it works
Town puts an agent into an existing group text rather than creating a new place to talk. Each person has their own agent, and those agents can make requests of one another inside the shared thread, an architecture that differs from the more common pattern of one shared bot serving the whole group.
You create an account first, then text. The product shipped in September 2026 and is backed by a $55M Series A led by a16z with Forerunner participating.
