A travel agent saved in your contacts: books, checks you in, chases refunds, and runs the store that lists its rivals
Soar is an AI agent you reach on iMessage and SMS. To start, text a number. It messages you first rather than waiting to be asked.
How Soar works
Soar is the travel agent as a contact: you text a published number, no account to start, and it books flights and hotels at live prices, checks you in when check-in opens and drops the boarding pass in the thread, uses your loyalty programmes, and chases the refunds it says you are owed. It texts first when a trip changes, and it can be added to a group chat to plan with other people. Its own FAQ says the app is where it is most helpful and text is the "diet version"; the number is the way in either way.
The policy is a year and a half older than the product it now describes. Dated April 2025, it covers Gmail access and the travel timeline in detail, states Google's Limited Use terms, says inbox data never leaves Google Cloud, and does not mention texting, bookings, payments or a model at all, so the rows for training, who carries the messages and what happens to a card stay blank. The FAQ says data is encrypted and never sold or shared with airlines and hotels.
One fact belongs on this listing that no travel page would carry. Soar Intelligence Inc. is the publisher of the Messages Agent Store, the iOS app behind imessage.store, a directory of iMessage agents in which Soar itself holds the paid top slot, and whose blog assesses iMessage infrastructure providers as an independent user. That is recorded in the correction on Linq's listing, which the store's own privacy policy names as the provider carrying its texts; here it is one sentence, because a reader choosing a travel agent and a reader choosing a directory are entitled to the same fact.
