Series makes introductions entirely inside iMessage: you text a number and it puts you in a group chat with people worth meeting. There is no app and no separate feed.
It reports presence on more than 750 campuses and a claimed 82% day-30 retention, which would be extremely high for a consumer social product and is worth treating as a company-reported figure rather than a verified one. Its pre-seed was reported variously as $3M, $3.1M and $5.1M across outlets; Pear VC led.
The policy is public and readable, and it answers the training question with a qualifier rather than a no. What it says next is the part worth reading twice. It states it may build derived datasets from the platform, naming relationship graphs, intent graphs and embeddings, and that it may use and commercialise de-identified or aggregated data. On a product whose entire function is knowing who should meet whom, the graph is the asset, and this is the only listing here that says out loud it may sell a version of it.
The people the introductions reach are themselves users, so this is one of the few listings where the question about people who never signed up does not arise. The operating company is The Founder Series, Inc., which the site never mentions, and the button that starts the thread carries a code generated for whoever is looking at the page, so there is no single link to publish.
