Insurance

4 public posts of somebody having an AI agent they text handle insurance, from 4 people, on Muse. 4 of them posted a figure, $700 to $3,500, each the author's own. None reports going wrong; people post successes.

All of these are Muse's, all September, and most of them are the same job: upload the current policy, ask for the same cover cheaper, and let the agent shop, buy and cancel. The first, on 10 September, claimed $3,500 a year in about five minutes and was seen more than half a million times; a second person copied it from the gym on the 15th and claimed $1,156; a third claimed $1,800 on the 14th and scheduled the agent to look again every six months, which is the first re-shop to become a standing check. The one that is not is a cancellation done by phone, filed as the company's because the author's profile puts him at Meta. What none of them says is whether the new policy matched the old one on the terms that matter when a claim comes, and no sighting reports a month later.

The figures, as posted

Every dollar figure somebody attached to one of these posts. The figures are theirs, unverified, and never added up here.

The posts, by agent

Muse4

  1. A product manager whose profile places him at Facebook and Meta says Muse handled a business call on an insurance issue: called the insurer, got a cancellation sorted, left him a document to sign, and will follow up by phone once he has. He puts the saving at over $700.

    Why it is notable

Filed as the company's account because his profile lists a product role at Facebook and Meta as the current one and the post does not say so. It is also the first account of a call with a promised second call: the agent will ring back after he signs, which is a scheduled outbound call and a row no listing here publishes.

  2. A user says he saved $1,800 a year on auto insurance because of Muse, and that he will schedule it to look again every six months.

    Why it is notable

The fourth insurance re-shop on the record and the first to say what happens next: a standing check every six months, which turns a one-off saving into a watch. No detail of what was compared or bought; the figure is his.

  3. Having seen the $3,500 insurance post, a user uploaded his own policy and asked Muse to shop for cheaper cover while he was at the gym. Fifteen minutes later, he says, he is saving $1,156 a year.

    Why it is notable

A sighting that cites the sighting it copied, which is how a use case spreads: the same instruction, a different person, a smaller number. Recorded beside the first because two people reporting the same job is a pattern and one is an anecdote.

  4. A founder uploaded his auto insurance policy and asked for a better rate with identical coverage. He says it found a policy saving $3,500 a year, bought it, and cancelled the old one, in about five minutes; he had abandoned several attempts to switch because the aggregator sites were so painful.

    Why it is notable

The most-seen Muse sighting on this site by a distance, and the most consequential single action: not a quote but a purchase and a cancellation, on a contract most people never re-shop. The figure and the coverage claim are his. The author founds an unrelated company called Tempo, not the health one listed here.
