What actually differs
LoopMessage's working configuration is roughly $120 a month: $59.99 for the plan, $15 for a phone number, $15 for SMS and RCS fallback, and $30 to let the agent send the first message. Nothing is charged upfront. Tuco is $149 a month plus $335 once for a dedicated Mac mini, a warmed Apple ID and carrier KYC.
Over the first year that is roughly $1,440 against $2,123, so LoopMessage is cheaper on paper. The comparison turns on limits and recovery. Tuco publishes 50 new conversations and 150 messages per line per day and a 24 to 48 hour commitment on Apple ID problems. LoopMessage meters unique active daily contacts instead of messages and publishes no recovery commitment. Neither publishes a compliance claim, and Tuco does not state whether RCS fallback is available at all.
LoopMessage is for
Teams who prefer no upfront cost and can live with a longer list of line items.
Tuco AI is for
Teams who prefer one setup charge and one monthly figure.
