What actually differs
Photon's free tier is real: unlimited daily messages, RCS and SMS fallback, up to ten users, on a shared managed number pool. Pro is $25 for a hundred users. A dedicated line is $250 per line per month, and the group messaging API is only complete at that tier.
Linq publishes no pricing whatsoever, and publishes the deepest capability list in this comparison along with a SOC 2 Type II claim and a stated 99.95% uptime SLA. The honest framing is that these are not really competing for the same decision. Photon is where you find out whether the idea works; Linq is where you go when it has and you need the native behaviours. The one caution on Linq is that it also operates imessage.store, a competing directory of iMessage agents.
